Greater Collinwood’s Business Corridors
East 185th
This beautiful corridor has long served as Collinwood’s main commercial corridor. The district is approximately 1.5 miles of retail and is the border between Cleveland and Euclid. The street boasts its own I-90 interstate exit and is anchored on the north end by Euclid Hospital, Hospice of the Western Reserve, and VASJ High School. Properties are owned individually by both merchants and by property investors. East 185th Street has a strong presence of independent restaurants, taverns, beauty salons, barber shops, and a few independent retailers and the newly renovated LaSalle Arts and Media Center
St. Clair / Five Pointe Business District
The Five Pointe business district is centered at East 152nd and St. Clair Avenue and is home to the Collinwood Civic Center, which includes Collinwood High School and Athletic Complex, Five Pointe Community Center, 5th District Police Headquarters, Cleveland Fire Station 31, the Collinwood Branch of the Cleveland Public Library and US Post Office. The Civic Center and nearby residential communities support a vibrant retail corridor of shops, fast restaurants, banks and financial services, a grocery store and more.
lakeshore Boulevard
Lakeshore Boulevard provides community access to our two lakefront parks. At the intersection of Lakeshore Boulevard and East 156th Street lies a commercial district built on the land and grounds formerly home to Euclid Beach Amusement Park. Upon the park’s closing in 1969, various retail and apartment complexes were erected. The Lakeshore Boulevard business district now has a variety of uses within its boundaries. These include high-rise housing, residential homes, fast food restaurants, a grocery store, a nursing home, retail businesses, library, and a recreation center.
Waterloo Arts & Entertainment DIstrict
A vibrant corridor of arts-based businesses and nonprofits. Collinwood's Waterloo Arts and Entertainment District is a regional destination, bringing in tons of visitors to the neighborhood. The district is home to an eclectic mix of indie music venues and art galleries, the perfect place for artists young and old to launch their career or expand their practice. All of this sits just blocks away from miles of lakefront parks and streets lined with trees and large-historic houses.
nottingham business district
Located along Nottingham Road at St. Clair, the Nottingham Retail District is a local gem with wide appeal. Anchored by businesses like Calvotta’s Garden Center and Urban Farm, Congin’s Pizza, Nature’s Beauty, Goodwill Industries, Hospice of the Western Reserve, the Cleveland Industrial Center, and others, the area is experiencing growth as new businesses move in and storefront renovation projects take shape.
Euclid Green Retail Area
The Euclid Green community is home to both historic and suburban style neighborhoods which both share the retail district along Euclid Avenue. Anchored by the Village Green Shopping Center, Duggen Park and the Cornerstone Senior Apartment Community, this retail area along Euclid Avenue includes fast restaurants, banks and financial services, a variety of retail shops and a grocery store.
