Five Pointe Community Center (FPCC) is an local community center managed by Greater Collinwood Development Corporation dedicated to serving the people in the Greater Collinwood area. FPCC focuses on providing inclusive programming for all residents as an ongoing effort to build community and provide resources.

Senior programming

  • Senior Meal Program
    Offered every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. A light breakfast is offered from 9:00am until 10:00am and Lunch is served at 12:00pm. All meals are served at the lower level of Five Pointe Community Center. Prior registration is necessary. Meals are free to seniors and special presentations are made monthly.

  • Medicare Specialist Appointments
    Medicare Specialist Appointments are available through OSHIP on Thursdays from 2:00pm until 4:00pm or by appointment. To make an appointment contact Doreen Banks at 216- 761-5906 or contact Five Pointe Community Center for more information. To learn more about OSHIP, please click HERE.

Youth Programming

  • The Reading RAMM (recording arts, music and media) Academy takes a non-traditional approach to learning, through the use of project-based learning as the engine using multimedia as the fuel. Combining multimedia, statewide curriculum and benchmarks embedded with Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Reading R.A.M.M.'s mission is to improve school culture and academics utilizing a holistic student and teacher focused SEL approach to improve conditions for learning.     • My Young Fam-Anticipated April 2019- Students receive an industry ready hands-on experience in radio and digital podcasting in the fully equipped WOVU 95.9 FM studios. Participants will attend weekly workshops on radio programming, commercial production, news, voice-overs and music programming that support the five core competencies of social emotional learning.

  • Free Breakfast and Lunch

    FPCC has a partnership with Greater Cleveland Food Bank during the summer and winter months to ensure ensures that youth continue to receive nutritious meals during long school vacations when they do not have access to school lunch or breakfast.

    About the Scholarship: The Mayor Frank G. Jackson Scholarship Program was created by the City of Cleveland in 2007 to provide scholarship funds to the following individuals:
    1. City employees
    2. Dependents of City employees
    3. High school seniors graduating from the Cleveland Metropolitan School District
    4. High school seniors in the Youth Development Program or involved with the City of Cleveland Department of Recreation

  • Produce Giveaway
    Second Wednesday of the month (March-November) at 2:00pm at the lower level of Five Pointe. To register, please bring a valid and your own bags. Click HERE for all of the produce giveaway dates.

  • Food Bag Giveaway
    Last Thursday of the month at 1:30pm at the lower level of Five Pointe. Must be 18 years or older.

  • Collinwood Neighborhood Catholic Ministries ID/Birth Certificate Clinic

    Thursdays from 11:00am-1:00pm
    Eligibility Requirements: A resident of Cuyahoga County; Eligible for SNAP/Food stamps (gross monthly income of $1307 or less for single adult).

    Please bring: Some form of ID (birth certificate, social security card, medical record and proof of residency.

  • Creative Painting

    Offered the following Saturdays from 10:30am-12:30pm
    March 16 and 30
    April 13 and 27
    May 11 and 25
    June 15

  • Tri-C Adult Diploma Program – ADP provides to eligible students +Core Skills Mastery + ACT National Career Readiness Certificate + Career Exploration and Counseling + Training and Industry Certification in an In-Demand Career Field + High School Diploma issued by Ohio Department of Education. Must be 22 years and older.

  • Moms First-  Provides expecting mothers and mothers with children up to 2 years old with connections to social services and community resources to help support those moms who are in need to have healthier babies.

  • Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Cleveland – Services include Homebuyer Preparation classes, Reverse Mortgage Counseling, First time home buyer assistance (Cuyahoga Co program), Foreclosure prevention, Home Repair Loans, Credit Counseling and more.  Financial Empowerment Series coming soon.

  •  Cleveland Restoration Society – Heritage Home Loan Program –With free technical assistance to help you get repairs to your home (house must be 50 years or older) and rates as low as 1.4% for well qualified applicants call us for more details to get in touch with this program.

  • CHN Housing Partners – This organization offers programs for home weatherization and energy conservation. They also offer for foreclosure prevention and HEAP/PIPP services.

  • Healthy Living in Collinwood - Coit Road Farmers Market – Open Saturdays year round 8:00am – 1:00pm
